DIY headband makeover

Ever go through your old headbands?
I recently just found one and it was just falling apart. So, decided to do something with it and share it with you guys :D

 Materials:
Headband
 nail polish
 nail polish remover (optional) and tape.



Instructions:
1. Clean your headband, also remove glue or anything that was left over. To clean it, I used nail polish remover.


2. Mark the design you would like to make on the headband. I used tape to expose some areas where I wanted to apply nail polish.

3.  Use various colors to design your headband. Also, do not forget to put a clear coat, it gives a nice shine.



4. Let it dry completely. Finally take off the tape and show off your new headband.

Ripped tights?

A girl can never have enough tights right! 

Who has more than one pair of tights in the same color? Don't worry your not the only one. Guilty :/ 

Fix your favorite ripped tights by simply doing a DIY project out of it. 

Materials:

1. Your tights

2. Fabric glue or sewing 

3. Extra fabric

* TIP: Wear your tights to figure out where the extra fabric needs to go. 

* Cut out a circle or any other shape from the extra fabric ( make sure the shape is big enough to cover the hole on your tights.)

*Cut out a pair of those shapes

* finally use fabric glue to stick the extra fabric to your tights. If your not a huge fan of using fabric glue then you can also sew the extra fabric to your tights. 

Another approach to "fixing" the hole in your tights is to simply wear a different color tights to make the other color pop out, which makes the hole look intentional. 

NOW, YOUR GOT A NEW PAIR OF TIGHTS! kinda...
